Happy Holidays!
Dear Parents,
Children will be finishing this week for the Summer break. We would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for all of their support and also thanks to the pupils for their hard work this year. We hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable summer break.
Dates 30th June- children finish for the summer holidays at 11.00am
31st August- school will open from 9.00-10.30 for children who feel anxious about returning to school
1st September – school officially starts for children in mainsteeam. This will be a full day and dinners will be available 4th September- children in Learning Support Classes return to school. Uniform Drive
If any parents have clean, washed uniforms which are in good condition and which you no longer require, please drop them off in the school and we will make sure they go to a good home. If you require a school uniform for your child, please contact us. Free Dinners and Uniform grants Free Dinner Forms and Uniform Grants are now available on the EA website. We would strongly encourage parents to apply now as it takes weeks for the EA to process these applications.
Retirement On the 30th June Mrs Sheehan and Mrs Donnelly (P1) will retire after more than 30 years in Holy Trinity Primary School. They have both dedicated their lives to our school and we cannot thank them enough for the commitment love, care and devotion that they have shown the pupils over this time. The education they provided to the children has been exceptional giving the children the skills, knowledge, self belief and confidence to excel in school. They have also been a pillar of strength to staff and parents. We will miss them greatly but we also wish them health and happiness in this new chapter of their lives. From the parents, pupils and staff of Holy Trinity thank you Mrs Sheehan and Mrs Donnelly and good luck in your retirement.
Digital Leaders Award
We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful Digital Leaders this year! Well done you were amazing!! You completed so many ICT activities, working with P1, using Adobe Creative Cloud Express and helping others learn about esafety. Congratulations on achieving your digital badges.
Prize Giving
A huge congratulations to all our prize winners today. We are so proud of each and every one of you.
Thank you to our sponsor The Park Centre. It was great to see Ruth Lyndsay.
We really enjoyed the lovely singing from our choir and Mrs McKinney.
Thank you to all our Governors and teachers for attending today. Mrs Webb organised our event and we really appreciate all that she did to make this happen.
It was a very special day and we were privileged to have the Molloy family and the O’Hagan family with us.
P7 End of Year Show
A huge well done to our P7 children on our school show. You were all amazing. Thank you to all the staff who helped with costumes, lights, sound, make up etc. A special thank you to Miss Donnelly and. Mrs Bradley for their wonderful direction and choreography.
Cystic Fibrosis Day 2023
We had a lovely yellow day today to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. You were all a ray of sunshine! Thank you.

We want to wish all our Primary 7s well as they prepare to leave Holy Trinity. We hope you have enjoyed all your time with us. We will miss you but we know you will keep in touch.
Love for Life Workshop
Dear Parents/Guardians
As part of our ongoing commitment to the personal development of our pupils, Holy Trinity has invited ‘Love For Life’ to deliver their ‘Choices and Changes’ programme to P6 and ‘What’s Inside?’ programme to P7 on the 12th May 2023.This programme from an external agency enhances what we already deliver in relation to RSE (Relationships and Sexuality Education). We have also engaged the services of this team to provide a workshop for parents called “Birds and Bees” which will help you talk to your child about puberty and the changes which will occur in their bodies. This workshop will take place on Thursday 4th May at 9.30am in the school (this meeting is for parents, children should not attend) and we would urge you to attend.
This information session is also open to parents of children in P5 also.
