Monday 9th March saw an incredible day of basketball, activity and competition as our Primary 7 boys and girls took part in Cleveland Project Basketball Blitz. After eight weeks of coaching, learning and preparation, it was fantastic to see the energy, teamwork and skill on display. The effort the players have put in during the programme really shone through today.
Our girls team went on a three game unbeaten run which brought them to the final against a strong Bunscoil Phobail Feirste side and unfortunately came up 2nd best.
Our boys’ team narrowly missed out on qualification on points difference. However they finished strongly with a convincing win over Tonagh Primary School.
Well done to all involved and thank you to Coach Conor for all his help, support and Advice over the last 8 weeks.
