As part of their topic on the Vikings, children enjoyed learning outside today. They were able to explore how Viking homes might have looked and been constructed. Using natural materials such as leaves, twigs, sticks, pinecones, and even fallen apples, pupils worked together to create pictures and plans of Viking homes. This hands-on outdoor learning activity enabled all the children to engage in creativity, teamwork, and enjoy the natural environment of our school.
