P3 Fright Fun!

Primary 3BH have been getting creative with a frightfully fun Halloween art activity! The children explored the concept of symmetry and used their new knowledge to design eerie and eye-catching Halloween faces.
Each pupil chose from a spooky selection of templates — a pumpkin, cat, or a skull. They carefully designed one half of the face, then used black paint to bring their creation to life. The real magic happened when they folded their paper in half and pressed gently. As they unfolded their paper they were amazed to reveal a perfectly symmetrical, spooky face!
Once the paint had dried, the children added vibrant colours to complete their symmetrical masterpieces.
