Match 1: Holy Trinity 0-0 Holy Cross 2-2
Holy Trinity opened their campaign with a tough match against a strong Holy Cross side. Despite creating several chances, the boys were unable to find the net. Holy Cross took their opportunities well, scoring two goals and two points. Holy Trinity battled bravely to the final whistle, with standout performances from Caoimhin Curran and Shay McCormick in defence and middle of the park.

In a closely contested second game, Holy Trinity showed great determination. Fionn Keeley McKeever and Nathan Hanna worked tirelessly in and around midfield, while Niall Boswell’s clever play helped set up scoring chances. Conor Fegan was superb in nets, leading by example throughout. Although the game ended in a draw, Holy Trinity’s teamwork and spirit were clear to see.

Holy Trinity finished the day in style with a fantastic win. Caolan Mackle was superb on his debut, scoring a brilliant goal and showing great promise. The team played with confidence and flair, with all five key players making big contributions. Ronan McAnoy was solid in full back and all 7 subs featured and worked tirelessly throughout.
