P4MMC had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day with Scholastic Book Club Live! The children took part in an engaging story session featuring ‘Betsy Buglove and the Lucky Ladybirds.’
They thoroughly enjoyed the interactive storytime and draw-along webinar led by author Catherine Jacob and illustrator Lucy Fleming. Not only did the pupils listen to the story, but they also had the exciting opportunity to create their very own illustrations of Betsy Buglove, guided by the book’s illustrator.
Along the way, the class discovered some fascinating facts about ladybirds and showed great creativity and enthusiasm throughout the session.
