Children in spl4 had a fantastic time sorting skittles by colour! They enjoyed exploring the different shades of the limited edition skittles, counting each group and comparing which colour had the most. It was fun, hands-on way to build number sense and practise sorting skills.
After sorting the skittles by colour, the children in SPL4 used their findings to create a colourful block graph. They counted each group and carefully built their graphs, proudly showing which colour had the least and which had the most. It was a fun way to link counting, sorting and data representation.
The best part was getting to eat the skittles at the end. They were so excited to enjoy the treat after all their hard work!
