P6LMC recently joined a Just2easy Live Lesson all about creating a Rainforest Database. The children learned how to set up the right fields, add information correctly, and even make simple charts using their data.
They then had great fun building their own databases, adding lots of rainforest animal facts, and creating charts to compare different pieces of information.
Everyone is now confident about the difference between a field and a record, and they enjoyed seeing how databases help organise information clearly. The class especially loved making and interpreting their own colourful charts.
