Since starting Primary 6, our class has been working incredibly hard to master their times table facts. Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) has provided a fun and engaging way to support this learning, and the children are all striving to earn their '11 blue ticks'—a sign that they know all their table facts and can answer them within 6 seconds. Last week, we fully embraced the Ireland Rocks competition, with many children practising for 40–60 minutes daily. This dedication made a huge difference, and we were thrilled to present 12 pupils with their 'Gone Green' certificates. This means their heat maps are completely green—they’ve taken their learning one step further and can now answer all the facts in under 4 seconds!
