P4KL traded the classroom for the fresh air this week to dive into the world of ephemeral art. Taking inspiration from the environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy, the students focused on the temporary nature of environmental art by creating art designed to be reclaimed by the wind and rain. After analysing Goldsworthy’s use of natural patterns, the children headed outside to construct intricate, mandala-inspired installations using solely materials discovered in nature. It was an exciting, fun way for the children to showcase their learning! Well done P4KL!
