P4CW explored the captivating work of artist Andy Goldsworthy, examining how he uses natural materials—such as leaves, stones, and sticks—to shape his creations. We looked closely at the patterns, colours, and forms he designs, and discussed how his artworks interact with and change within their natural surroundings.
Working in groups, we then created our own nature-inspired artworks. Using materials gathered outdoors, pupils collaborated to arrange their pieces in a way that reflected Goldsworthy’s style and his deep appreciation for the environment.
