Some of Holy Trinity’s finest P5 basketballers travelled to Lisburn on Monday 17th November to take part in a blitz. 8 schools from Belfast and Armagh competed in a boys’ competition and a girls’ competition. Holy Trinity competed in the elite cup event. Our boys team battled to the semi finals where they drew in normal time, before being narrowly defeated in overtime by a “golden” basket. Our girls carried all before them. They won all their group games, before winning their semi finals and then triumphing in the final, beating Armagh CBS Primary School by a single basket. The teams showed skill, bravery and great teamwork in all the games, and represented our school superbly. Well done all.
