This month, P4 have been developing their artistic skills by learning about the work of Henri Rousseau. We explored his distinctive style, discussed the features that make his paintings so unique, and took inspiration from his famous Tiger in a Tropical Storm.
Working in small groups, we used an online teaching resource on the iPads and followed the step by step instructions to recreate our own versions of the painting. The children showed fantastic teamwork, focus, and creativity throughout the process.
Our finished pieces look incredible — each one full of colour, detail, and imagination. Keep an eye out for the next artist we’ll be studying. Well done, P4!
