Coding Adventures in Scratch – Primary 3BH

Primary 3BH have been learning coding in the ICT suite using Scratch. The children began by selecting a winter-themed background and choosing an appropriate sprite. Using coding blocks, they programmed their sprite to change colour and move across the screen. Next, they added a second sprite and explored sound effects, coding it to play a noise at the right moment. Finally, they introduced a third sprite and created a speech bubble to display text. The children were highly engaged throughout the session and thoroughly enjoyed watching their sprites come to life!
