Over several art lessons, our P1 pupils carefully explored how to create their own versions of Van Gogh’s famous sunflowers. They began with simple line drawings, focusing on shape and detail, before bringing their work to life using mixed media to add bright, expressive colour. Along the way, the children learned about Vincent van Gogh’s life and discovered what makes his artwork so unique and recognisable. They experimented with texture and bold colour choices inspired by his style. The finished pieces show wonderful creativity and growing artistic confidence. We are so proud of our young artists and their beautiful sunflower masterpieces!
