Graphing Our Favourite Colours: A P3BH Data Stor
9th Nov 2025
P3BH have been busy learning about data collection. They began by conducting a survey of their classmates’ favourite colours, using tally marks to record the results. Next, they organised the information into a table and created colourful bar graphs using J2Data.
The children experimented with different ways to present their data, and they enjoyed customising the look of their graphs by changing styles and colours.
To deepen their understanding, the class discussed the results together and used mathematical language such as survey, most popular, and least popular to analyse their findings. Finally, the pupils recorded themselves on J2Data explaining their graphs.
