World Around Us

As part of their World Around Us programme the children of P4 went on an Educational visit to Carrickfergus Castle.  The children were given a tour of the castle and saw the original owner, John DeCourcy and his wife Affreca.  The children also met Adam the Archer, Gilbert the Lookout and Cuddles the Guard dog.  As a reward for their good behaviour the children were invited to the Banquet Hall for an exhibition of Sword Fighting and a demonstration of ancient weapons.  The children had a fabulous time and they were a credit to the school.
