ICT Mark Awarded to Holy Trinity!
We are delighted to let you know that, following an ICT inspection by a recognised Naace inspector, Holy Trinity has been awarded the prestigious ICT Mark. The ICT Mark award is a nationally accredited, quality mark that recognises schools who can demonstrate the use of ICT to support all learners across the curriculum. To qualify for this award, schools must show evidence that they have harnessed technology to improve learning and teaching, efficiently manage education, extend opportunities for learning and improve communications with parents and the wider community. We are the first primary school in the Belfast Education and Library Board area to receive this award and we feel proud that the very high quality of our provision for our pupils in ICT has been recognised. Our thanks goes to all of our staff and pupils and our two ICT Coordinators Miss Harte and Mrs Rooney. On receiving the award, Mrs Armstrong our Principal commented "On behalf of Holy Trinity Primary School, I am delighted to be awarded the ICT Mark. It recognises our positive approach to ICT and the benefits it is bringing to our children. We believe that ICT can be used in every aspect of learning and that it is essential our children are equipped for the modern world."
