SCHOOL OF MUSIC CONCERT.
Wednesday 17th November 2010
On Wednesday 10th November two classes from Holy Trinity Primary School attended a concert organised by The Belfast School of Music held in Clonard Monastery. P6CW and P6MH had been working with teachers from the School of Music for 8 weeks on 3 songs. These songs were based on music from Polynesia and the Caribbean.
The children joined schools from Holy Cross Boys and Girls, St Claire’s and Deanby Gardens to form a Choir on the night. The concert also included music from the Belfast Youth Orchestra who played several pieces written by famous and contemporary composers. The concert was viewed by a large audience in Clonard and was a fantastic experience for all taking part.
