Global Partnership!
Holy Trinity Primary School have formed a global partnership with St Andrew’s in Kampala, Uganda. Through the Global School Partnership the school aims to motivate the children’s commitment to a fairer, more sustainable world. Both Holy Trinity and St Andrew’s are going to take part in a joint curriculum project on ‘Water’ and have received funding from the British Council and the Department For International Development for this. The schools have received £2100 between them to fund visits from teachers. In April Ssengendo Milly, a teacher from St Andrews in Kampala will be visiting Holy Trinity for a week and in May Miss Cathy Harte will be visiting St Andrews in Kampala. Children from St. Andrew’s and Holy Trinity will exchange work and letters, allowing them to share individual experiences, develop friendships and explore diversity in their schools and the wider community.
