Holy Trinity P.S. is partnered with St. Andrew’s Kaggua Ndejji P.S. just outside Kampala, Uganda. The partnership developed when the principal of St Andrew’s, Father Aloysius visited Holy Trinity in May 2009. He enjoyed spending time in our school and was keen to form a mutual learning partnership. In 2010 Mrs Fyfe visited Uganda and spent a week at St. Andrew’s P.S., bringing with her letters and work from our pupils. Miss Harte and Mrs Fyfe then both went back to Uganda in March 2011 with Father Aloysius coming to holy trinity in June 2011. Our P6 pupils worked on a joint curriculum project entitled ‘Liquid Gold’. This allowed pupils from both schools to learn together about issues and themes that affect us all. Teachers and pupils from both schools will work as equal partners in order to develop a greater global understanding.
